Robert David Taylor of Starke passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at North Florida Regional Hospital, Gainesville, FL. He was born on June 30, 1957 to Lee Taylor and Kathrine Fugatt. He graduated high school from Bradford High in 1975. He was a painter and mechanic by trade and later retired to be devoted to his wife and to mentor his children and grandchildren. Robert and Theresa shared a loving marriage of 50 years.He truly loved his family deeply and strongly. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. His passion was being with his family and joking with his friends.He is preceded in death by a son Robbie, father Lee Taylor, mother Katherine Fugatt, stepmother Blanche Taylor, and great granddaughter Ivory Rose MosleyHe is survived by his wife Theresa, daughter Terry of Starke, son Timmy (Amberly) of Starke, son Michael of Starke, daughter Donna (Chris) of Gainesville, and son Daniel of Starke. Also left are 24 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with one more on the way, sister Joann Denman (Arthur) of Lawtey, sisters-in-laws Lela, Judy, and Marcella, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral services beginning at 11:00 at Madison Street Baptist Church.
