Robert F. "Bobby" Waring

Mr. Robert "Bobby" F. Waring age 74 of Sanderson, formerly of Hampton, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Orange Park. Bobby was born on May 26, 1946 in Bronx, NY to the late Harold and Mildred (Hartman) Waring. He enjoyed reading books, crossword puzzles, computer games, playing soccer, FSU Football, and his grandchildren. Mr. Waring served in the Navy for 22 honorable years and worked as an electrician prior to retirement. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Christie Barbour; great-granddaughter, Blair Davis; and a stepson, Michael Newman. Survivors are: his wife of 11 years, Sara Waring; sons, Robert F. Waring, Jr. and Frank H. Waring; siblings, Linda Hoffman, Susan (Robert) Chester, Harold (Lila) Waring, Bruce Waring, John (Carol Ann) Waring, and Victoria (Robert) Koch; grandchildren, Julia Waring, Jayden Barbour, LaDonna Combs, Amber Novles, Markas Davis, Michael Davis, and Maggie Davis; great-grandchildren, Thomas Novles, Haley Novles, Kalvin Novles and Bryson Novles; and step-daughters, Liza Newman and Donna Davis. Also left are many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on Saturday, December 5, 2020 beginning at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will precede the service and will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Crosby Lake Cemetery with military honors.
