Mr. Robert "Bob" White, Sr. passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at American House Coconut Point in Estero, FL. Bob was born on May 26, 1949 in Starke. Following graduation from Bradford High School class of 1967, he graduated from University of Florida with a degree in architecture. Mr. White was a Presbyterian with a strong faith and attended Oak River Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, FL. Bob retired after working as an Architect for over 40 years. Bob loved music, building furniture, spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, following UF Gator sports, and snuggling with his two golden retrievers, Coral and Gracie. Bobs achievements include being an Eagle Scout, President of the Gainesville chapter of AIA, coaching basketball for his children, and giving the best hugs.Preceding him in death was his father, Olin Wesley White and his brother Larry Olin White. Survivors are: his wife of 51 years, Melinda (Chapman) White of Bonita Springs, Daughter, Kelly W. Fennemore (Jason) of Naples, FL, Sons, Robert "Wes" Wesley White, Jr. of Clermont, FL, Keven White (Nathalie) of Bonita Springs, his mother, Lucy (Barton) White of Bonita Springs, and his brother, Mike White (Patricia) of Coral Springs. Also left are his six extraordinary grandchildren: Anna, London, Ava, Olivia, Caroline and Jack, and his sister-in-law, Cindy White of Starke. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:00 am at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Bay Presbyterian Church at 1:00 PM.
