Rodney Paul Christle

Mr. Rodney Paul Christle age 72 of Starke, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Rodney was born on November 24, 1948 in Wabash, Indiana to the late Robert Paul and Lucy Lee Christle. "Rockin Rod" as he was known to his friends, was an avid bass fisherman, NASCAR fan, and loved the Florida Gators. Rodney served in the United States Army for four years. He later retired from Okeelanta Sugar Mill in South Bay, Florida as a Chief Electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Randall Patrick Christle and James David Christle. Survivors include, his wife of 27 years, Irene "Allison" Christle of Starke; children, Brandy Leigh (Brian) Seider of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Erin Paulette (Todd Cox) Christle of Moore Haven, Florida, William "Tiger" Crum of Kingsport, Tennessee, Wendy Waneta of Florida, Sandra (Randy) Luke of Starke and Charlene Johnson of Florida; brother, Mike Lee Christle of Burlington, Washington; sisters; grandchildren, Ashleigh Andrews, Macy Cox, Jayden Cox, Kinley Seider, Luke Crum, Jacob (Taylor) Luke, and Jordan Luke; great-grandchild, Daylen Andrews; many nieces nephews, extended family and many good friends.A Celebration of Life will take place at the familys home on Sunday, May 2, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to in Mr. Christles name to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital: https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME OF STARKE 904-964-6200.
