Roger Alan Baughman

Mr. Roger Alan Baughman, II age 48, of Melrose passed away at his home, Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was born in McKeesport, PA on April 1, 1968 and relocated with his family to the Tampa area in 1969. He was a construction worker, auto mechanic, and worked doing power plant shutdowns until a back injury in 2009. Roger married the love of his life, Carol Christman on July 4, 1996 at the Methodist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL. He enjoyed being outdoors, going to the Hog Waller, Gator Nationals, watching NASCAR, and his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gary & Ruth Rowland, and Jeanne & Paul Baughman, and his father Roger Baughman. His survivors are his wife of almost 21 years, Carol Baughman and four sons; William, who is stationed in MS serving in the Navy, Donald and Robert both of Melrose, FL and Thomas, who is stationed in NM serving with the Marine Corps; his mother, Sandra (Rowland) Baughman (Ron Repphun), his sister, Holly Morgan (Shayne) both of Riverview, FL. Also left behind are two nieces, Shayna Davis (Caleb) and Sierra Morgan (Sean), his Uncle Brian Baughman (Judy), mother-in-law, daughters-in-law, several cousins, two great nieces, ten grandchildren, and close friends. The memorial service for Roger is to be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 4:00-5:00 pm at the Trinity Baptist Church located at 3716 SE State Road 21 South, Keystone Heights, FL.
