Roger Eugene Hendl

Mr. Roger Eugene Hendl age 55, of Green Cove Springs passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at St. Vincents Medical Center in Middleburg following an extended illness. Roger was born October 9, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Eugene "Gene" and Carole (Franklin) Hendl and had graduated with the class of 1980 from Clay High School. His passion for caring for others led him into a career of becoming an in-home care giver for many years. Roger enjoyed watching religious stations on television with his dad and reading. Since he was devoted to his job and always working he would get on the computer so he could stay in touch with many friends. In addition to his parents, Roger is also survived by his brothers and their wives Kenny (Karla) Hendl and Kurt (Betty) Hendl all of Middleburg along with his aunts and uncles Johnnie (Don) Walsh of Green Cove Springs and Peggy (Tommy) Haire of Quincy. He was also the best uncle to his nieces Gaby, Melonie and Kelsey; nephews Eric (Courtney) and Alan (Kaylee); great niece Rylee Kay "Bug" and great nephews Braylen and Little Kenny (K3). Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Lake Asbury Baptist Church, 2674 Henley Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 with Arlie Brashear officiating. In lieu of flowers Roger would love for donations to be made to any Pro-life organization.
