Mr. Roger Eugene Perry 64, of Melrose passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 following a brief illness. Roger was born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 8, 1947 to the late Kenneth and Rita (Arsenault) Perry and had served in the Unites States Coast Guard. He has been a resident of Melrose for the past year moving here from Stuart where he had retired as a Master Craftsman building Yachts. He was a lifelong boater, fisherman, master boat builder, and an avid outdoors man. Survivors are his wife of 19 years, Donna Perry; children, Wendy Perry, Jessica Perry, Jennifer Perry, Melissa Perry, Stephanie Perry, Mortisiya Perry, Eric Eugene Perry, Kevin Weaver, Gregory Weaver, Karin Weaver-Carrion, and several grandchildren. Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers Roger had requested contributions to please be made to the Hospice of your choice or to plant a tree in his memory.
