Roger Eugene Weaver

Mr. Roger E. "Pop-Pop" Weaver age 68, of Keystone Heights went to be with the Lord Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born in Mason, West Virginia on October 28, 1947 and he had served in the United States Army. Mr. Weaver was a longtime resident of Keystone Heights and prior to his retirement was worked for Seminole Electric as a maintenance coordinator. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling in the mountains with his wife and watching NASCAR races. Mr. Weaver had a passion for all types of cars, especially antiques and he was definitely a "Dodge" man. His mother Mary Margaret (Norris) and his sister, Susan Jane Lightfoot had both preceded him in death. Mr. Weaver is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Cathy (Eblin) Weaver and their two sons Kyle Weaver (Terri) and Bryan Weaver (Stacy) all of Keystone Heights. Also left behind is his father, Richard Weaver and one sister, Teresa Presley (Randy) all of Syracuse, Ohio; one brother Phillip Weaver of Cincinnati, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Weaver was known as "Pop-Pop" to his three grandchildren, Sarah Weaver, Emily Weaver and Matthew Weaver. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 18, 2016, August 18, 2016 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
