Ronald Guy 'Buck' Mcintosh

Ronald Guy "Buck" McIntosh, age 77, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2018 at his home in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday July 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in George H. Hewell & Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. A service honoring his life will be held at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday July 17, 2018 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd.Buck was born August 21, 1940 in Opp, Alabama to John William McIntosh and Molly Belle Anderson McIntosh. He was a long-time resident of Jacksonville and spent his career in the auto body industry which led him to partnering with his long time friend Lewis Scheider in B & S Bodyshop. Later on he built his own business off Beach Blvd, Buck's Bodyshop. Buck was dedicated to his family, loved his tractors and his loyal dog JD, was a hard worker, enjoyed a good joke and some boiled peanuts.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara Lou (Cookie) Bohannon McIntosh on June 4, 1987; siblings, Ed, Nix, Rudolph, Charles, Donald, Joe, Gladys Highsmith, Lola Ray, and Frances Boyd. He is survived by his sons, Bucky McIntosh (wife, Kelly) and Ray McIntosh (wife, Cindy); 4 grandchildren, Ryan McIntosh, Ryan Scott, Jake McIntosh, and Reagan McIntosh; and by many nieces, nephews & extended family & friends.Flowers are welcomed, and it is asked that they be ordered through Arlington Flower Shop @ 904-744-7411 or Hurst Florist @ 904-765-5576, as they are both members of Buck's family & they would welcome the privilege to honor Buck.Arrangements are under the direction George H.
