Ronald "Ronnie" Andrew Sullivan, 59, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on December 21, 2023. He was born on August 20, 1964 at Alachua General Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was a happy young boy who loved animals, dogs, puppies, and cats! He loved watching funny programs like Sanford & Son, laughing loud at them! He grew up some in Miami, loved to swim, had a dark tan, and his nephew called him Julio which he liked very much!Ronnie had different jobs like sod company, construction, security at Wells Fargo, and mostly working at our sisters Bohannons Tires in Gainesville, as a tire technician. He was a hard worker, good hearted, and really loved and cared for his Mama and his brothers, sisters, nephews, and other family members.He was preceded in death by his mother, Zelia D. Sullivan Townsend; father, Herbert J. Sullivan; brothers, Kenneth Ray Sullivan and John T. Sullivan.He is survived by his brother Larry H. Sullivan of High Springs, sisters Mary J. Bohannon (Lewis) of Gainesville and Sheila E. Hollingsworth (Gene) of High Springs.The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 2:00pm at Evans Carter Funeral Home, 18724 High Springs Main Street, High Springs. The visitation will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Fort White Cemetery. Rev. Dr. W. G. Mayberry of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will be officiating.
