Ronnie "Wayne" Mundorff

Mr. Ronnie "Wayne" Mundorff age 78, of Keystone Heights passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 in Gainesville. He was born August 18, 1939 in Boone City, North Carolina to the late Rollin Edward "R.E." and Lulua Lucille (Bennett) Mundorff. He was employed with Bradford and Union Counties as a Building Inspector until his retirement. He had also retired from the United States Army following his 30 plus years of service. Mr. Mundorff enjoyed hunting, fishing, hunting arrowheads and spending time with his family. His wife of 37 years, Diane Mundorff had preceded him in death as well as his brother Jon Mundorff and half-brother. His survivors are his children, Terry Mundorff (Beth) of Melrose, Pat Mundorff (Brenda) of Raiford, Luana Mundorff of Hawthorne, Richard Stitt (Susan) of Murphy, North Carolina, Thomas Stitt of Lake Butler, Lisa Vickery of Starke and Elizabeth Smith (Johnny) of Florahome. Also left behind are twenty three grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service for Mr. Mundorff will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Rev. Roman Alvarez officiating.
