Ronnie Austin Turner

Mr. Ronnie Austin Turner 69, of Starke passed away at his home Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina January 6, 1952, to Deward and Helen L. (Whitley) Turner and had served in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to retirement he worked as an electrician. Mr. Turner enjoyed playing the guitar, living the western life, being outdoors, taking care of his horses and dogs and knowing about the Indian heritage. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings Diane Turner Mundorff and Larry Turner. His survivors are his son Brian Turner (Jaclyn) of Headland, Alabama; his 100-year-old stepmother Phyllis Turner of Dothan, Alabama and two grandsons Timothy Brian Christian Turner and Caleb Austin Turner. Also left behind are two brothers Terry Turner (Pat) and Jerry Turner (Sandra) along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. A memorial service for Ronnie will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones-Chapel with Pastor Ed Wilds officiating.
