Rosa Lee Jenkins

Jenkins, Rosa LeeRosa Lee Jenkins, 93, passed away on January 15, 2021 at the Acosta-Rua Hospice Center in Jacksonville, FL. She is reunited in Heaven with her husband, William C. "Bill" Jenkins and her granddaughters, Tara Robertson & Amanda Knutson who preceded her.Rosa was born in Nahunta, Georgia to Jno Lee & Sallie (Chesser) Lee; one of 15 brothers & sisters. She was a long-time resident of Jacksonville, having come here after graduating from Nahunta High School. Rosa was a member of University Baptist Church (later becoming University Church) for over 50 years. Rosa most enjoyed being with, and taking care of, her family. In her spare time Rosa enjoyed reading. Throughout her life, Mrs. Jenkins leaves a rich legacy of love and service to others.Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her daughter, Ann J. May (husband, Tommy); her son, Joseph W. Jenkins (wife, Sherry); 2 grandsons, Josh 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Dixon and a brother, Kenneth Lee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and church family & friends. Along with her husband & granddaughters, Mrs. Jenkins was also preceded in death by 12 of her siblings.Due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns, funeral services will be private.Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
