Rosalie went to be with Lord and Savior on December 28, 2024. Rosalie survived her husband Olen D. Thomas after a 71 year marriage.Rosalie was born in Archer on January 27, 1933 to the John and Lena Watson. Rosalie had eight (8) brothers and sisters. Rosalie was the last living member of her original family. Rosalie was the proud mother of three (3) children, Linda, Donna, and John. Rosalie was also the loving grandmother of five (5) grandchildren, Dr. JoAnna, John Beall, Dr. Dannielle, Nicholas, and Joseph. Rosalie also ha nine (9) wonderful great-grandchildren, five (5) girls and four (4) boys.Rosalie has lived in Archer for most of her adult life. She was a member of the Archer First Baptist Church. She worked as credit manager for J. C. Penney for 20 years and in the audit department with Sears for 10 years. Over the years, Rosalie and husband Olen enjoyed extensive traveling through the following parts of the world: Europe, Canada, Mexico, Alaska, Puerto Rico, England, Scotland, Jamaica, and 49 of the 50 United States.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rosalies memory to the Construction Fund of the Archer First Baptist Church, 16870 SW 137th Ave, Archer, FL 32618.
