Mr. Rowland Jenks Smith, 86 of Melrose passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, in Orange Park following an extended illness. He was born in Warsaw, New York, December 1, 1935, to Merle and Alice (Reynolds) Smith. Mr. Smith served in the United States Navy, and retired from St. Petes Times as a Pressman. He enjoyed being outdoors and working in the yard. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife of many years Joan Smith. His survivors are his daughter Patricia Jones (Daniel) of Melrose and a son Mark Smith of Deltona. Also left behind are 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
