Ruby Duarte Ruby Duarte, age 86, went to be with her Lord Jesus, January 25. Ruby moved to Jacksonville many years ago to work for Greyhound Bus Lines where she met and married Henriques Duarte. Ruby and Henny raised four children; Carol Shaffer (Randy); Gary Duarte (Joyce); Debbie Pollard (Michael) and Mark Duarte (Robin); 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Ruby was predeceased in death by Henny in 1989.Rubys family was the most important part of her life. She raised her children to be compassionate and kind with a strong understanding of responsibility. Family gatherings were a big part of her life and infectious laughter made you happy just to be part of the family.The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at George H.
