Mrs. Ruby Ethel Green HudsonMrs. Ruby Ethel Green Hudson age 81, of Starke passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Bradford Terrace Nursing Home following a long illness. Mrs. Hudson was born on February 4, 1929 in Starke to the late Nelson T. and Winifred Wimberly Green, and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she served in the nursery. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Hudson. Survivors are sisters: Oleeta Hardenbrook and Pheobe Bakken (Joe) all of Starke; brothers: Harry Green (Mabel) of Starke; DeRitch Green (Jean) of Brooker; several nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends at the JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the First United Methodist Church of Starke with Reverend Mike Moore officiating.
