Ruby Hinton Lewis

Mrs. Ruby Hinton Lewis age 92, of Starke passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Shands Hospital in Starke. She was born January 30, 1926 in Fort Piece to the late Steadmond and Cornelia (Sapp) Hinton and has been a resident of Starke since 1939. Mrs. Lewis was not only a homemaker, she was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was the oldest attending member of Pine Level Baptist Church, and enjoyed camping and especially watching the deer on her property. Her husband Robert Earl "Bobby" Lewis had preceded her in death as well as her sister Willie Grinavitch and son in-law Milton Reynolds. Mrs. Lewis is survived by two daughters Sherry Lewis Fullwood (Ray Fales) of Starke and Sandy Lewis Reynolds of Cross Creek; three sisters Jo Holmes of Cocoa Beach, Gwen Nichols of Deltona, and Minnie McNell of Vero Beach. Also left behind three grandchildren Kimberly Pogue, Robert Reynolds and Chance Reynolds along with several great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Lewis will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the DeWitt C.
