Mr. Russell Dean Jacobs, Sr., 81 of Starke, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. Mr. Jacobs was born February 15, 1936 in Edgar, Nebraska to the late Vernon E. and Flora Mae (Sperling) Jacobs. He served in the United States Navy where he was a Chief Builder and retired after 20 years of service. His wife, Ada Jacobs, preceded him in death. Survivors are his sons, Russell D. Jacobs, Jr. of Ozark, Missouri and Richard Vernon Jacobs of Maine, daughter, Sharon Mae of Edgar, Nebraska, 2 grandchildren and his close friend, Jeff Nicols.
