Russell Howard Lapointe

Mr. Russell Howard LaPointe, age 90, of Starke passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. Mr. LaPointe was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 16, 1927 to Arthur and Mary Margaret (Smith) LaPointe. Formerly of Gainesville, he moved to Starke in January 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 40 years, Mercedes M. LaPointe. Mr. LaPointe is survived by his daughters, Dawn King and Laura Crews, both of Chicago, Illinois; and daughter-in-law, Karron Harris of Starke. Also left behind, are his grandsons, Eric and Jason Rathmann; as well as numerous other family members, and friends.No arrangements are scheduled locally.
