Russell D. Miscally, born February 4, 1944 in Jacksonville, passed away October 23, 2024 in Orlando. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his two sons, Judy Miscally. Russell is survived by wife Suzette Miscally, sons, Russell Miscally Jr. (Dawn), Greg Miscally (Rita), daughter Jennifer McCall (Mike), four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is a graduate of Robert E Lee High School. He worked for Seaboard Coast Line Industries, currently CSX Railroad, prior to working for the Jacksonville Fire Department as an engineer. He was one of the original members of the rescue division of JFRD. Russell served both the combat and rescue divisions during his career. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing and had a passion for growing his own vegetables. He never met a stranger and always was ready with a helping hand. He and his wife enjoyed competitive fishing tournaments and many boating trips to the keys with his sons. He will be dearly missed by family, friends and former colleagues.The family will receive friends at the DeWitt C.
