Ruth Juanita Arnold Ruth Juanita Arnold, 85, passed away on December 23, 2012, at the Community Hospice McGraw Center for Caring in Jacksonville.A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday December 28, 2012 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S., with Dr. Terry N. Collins of Southpoint Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes, prior to service at the funeral home.Ruth was born in Jacksonville on April 22, 1927 to Willard and Juanita OSteen. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. (where she also served as treasurer), the D.A.V. and the American Legion. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Max Arnold and five of her siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Maxine Bolan and Evelyn MacCalla; grandchildren Matthew Bolan (Candice), Melissa Bolan, Scott MacCalla & Andrea Eickhoff; great grandchildren Maxwell Bolan, Maxwell Eickhoff, Isaac Eickhoff, Mikey Eickhoff & Dominic Eickhoff; siblings Betty Green (Jack), Frank OSteen (Mabel) & Ben OSteen (Arline); sister-in-law, Frances OSteen and many nieces, nephews and extended family.Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
