Mrs. Ruth Stalvey Gerregano age 83 of MacClenny, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. She was born on October 3, 1925 in Valdosta, GA to John J. and Ellen Jane Cowart Stalvey. She lived in the MacClenny area since 1997, and was a member of MacClenny Primitive Baptist Church since 1974. She was an active member in her church, and for years wrote their memorials and always opened her home to host visiting pastors. She will always be remembered as the best Southern Host because of her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love she provided to each guest.Mrs. Gerregano was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gerregano, four brothers, and four sisters. She is survived by step-sons: Bud Gerregano of Memphis, TN; Bob Gerregano of Nashville, TN; step-daughter: Beverly Everett of Jacksonville, FL; brothers: Arlie Stalvey of Orlando, FL; Leland Stalvey of Ray City, GA; sister: Lelia Moore of Ray City, GA; and many nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.Funeral services for Mrs. Gerregano will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the MacClenny Primitive Baptist Church, 94 N. Boulevard E. MacClenny, FL with Pastor David Crawford officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the funeral services. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM in Cat Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Valdosta, GA.
