Born on December 17, 1958, in Lake Butler, Florida, Ruth was a lifelong resident of the area and a pillar of her community.Ruth dedicated her life to her family, embracing her role as a homemaker with unwavering love and devotion. She raised her two children, Terri Doughman and Shawn Gibson, fostering values of kindness, resilience, and hard work. Ruth's nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Chevy and Haleigh Doughman, and her nephews; Russel and Richie Eberle with whom she created countless memories, offering constant support and encouragement that shaped their lives profoundly.Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her. Ruth was known for her warmth, her infectious laughter, and her ability to bring comfort to everyone she encountered.A graveside service to honor Ruth's life will be held on February 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Crosby Lake Cemetery. Prior to the service, a family viewing will take place at Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home in Starke at 1:00 PM.
