Mrs. Ruth Anabel Johnson age 83, of Keystone Heights passed away August 14, 2013 from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. Mrs. Johnson was born in Butler, Pennsylvania November 10, 1929 to the late Paul V. and Melda Mae (Claypool) McJunkin. In 1968, she and her late husband moved to Keystone Heights from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and opened the P&J Quick Stop. She was a dedicated Christian member of Trinity Baptist Church, Keystone Womens Club, a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 62 years, and enjoyed volunteering for Lake Area Ministries and the Keystone Senior Center. Mrs. Johnsons husband Carl J. Johnson and two sisters, Evelyn Simko and Janet Kanish had preceded her in death. Survivors are her children; Paul G. Johnson (Tina) of Crawfordville, Joy Johnson and Jack R. Johnson both of Keystone Heights. Also left behind is one sister, Shirley Steim of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, five granddaughters, one grandson, and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor James Peoples and Pastor Scott Stanland officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. A private burial will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery. The family has requested contributions to be made to Lake Area Ministries, P.O.
