BROWN: Funeral services for Ruthie Mae Williams Brown, 77, who passed away on August 11, 2025, will be held Saturday August 23, 2025 in the Moloney - Hewell  Funeral Home chapel, 4140 University Boulevard South, Jacksonville, Florida 32216, with Pastor Vasco Eagle officiating. Mrs. Brown was born in Camilla, Georgia and was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida. since the age of three. She was a Dietitian Technician by trade and was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her late son, Byron "Bear" Keith Williams; and 3 brothers, Herman "Polly" Manning, Willie Williams, and Cecil Williams. Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, James Brown; 1 daughter, Gloria Ann Brown; and 1 grandson, Ortise "G-Son" James Cole. Arrangements under the care and direction of Moloney-Hewell Funeral Home.
