Sally Corine Clark Dean passed away on her birthday, Jan. 1, 2026. She is gone but lives in our hearts forever.

Sally grew up on a Kentucky tobacco farm, the youngest of five siblings, daughter of loving parents. She graduated from Owen County High School and attended Western Kentucky University. In 1984, following a move to Jacksonville, Sally married her high school sweetheart, Willard Dean, and in 2025, they celebrated 41 years of marriage.

Sally loved her home, her dogs, reading, playing scrabble, Texas Hold'em. For many years, she cared for her mom and sister who faced medical issues. Her professionalism and integrity won the respect and love of clients, fellow employees, and her employers while working for forty years with the Garrett and Wood's Accounting firm. Sally and Will were actively, generously involved in their church, whose members were family to them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Williard Dean; brother, Frank "Chip" and his wife Hitomi; sister Elinor; sisters-in-law, Jane (Todd) and Linda Montague; nieces, Jessi Lyerla, Candace (Kip) Jones; nephews, Adam (Natalie), Chasse Clark, Jeremy, Megan Carmicle, and their children; many cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Jean Clark; brother, Michael Clark; sisters, Kathy Lyerla, and Lori Clark; and niece Charis Carmicle.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Sally's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Southside Disciples of Christ, 6755 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211.
