Same Nhiev, age 77, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on March 23, 2021 in Jacksonville. He was born January 1, 1944 in Battambang, Cambodia to Nhiev Chuerng and So Sao. Mr. Nhiev had many hobbies and passions in life, includes gardening, fishing, watching professional wrestling and football. He also loved cooking and watching Cambodian TV shows, as well as spending time with his loving family especially his grandchildren.Survivors include his wife, Hean Ye; sons, Sophal Son (Poev Sim), Sarith Nhiev (Amy), Sara Nhiev (Meagan Taylor), Saran Nhiev (Janice Opalec), Sithan Nhiev (Samros Hann) and Sinath Nhiev; daughters, Rany Khiev and Sokha Roth; sisters, Samoth and Samoll Chuerng; grandchildren, Pon Son (Tina Sary), Phin Son (Sundaly Ouch), Phary and Ira Son, Dakota, Kelton, Jaden, Jessalyn, Makayla, Nitaya, Logan, Devonte, Khearissa, Kensley, Emmalyn, and Malakai; great-grandchildren, Joleen, Elliette and Logan; numerous extended friend and family. He is preceded in death by brothers, Samorn, Saman, Samean Chuerng and sister Samek Chuerng. Services will be held from 11am-2pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the Chapel of George H.
