Memorial services for Sammy Ray Ratley, 61, who passed away on August 6, 2014, will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. Mr. Ratley was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and was a longtime resident of Callahan, Florida. He was Master Mechanic by trade and an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Doris and Wallace "Big P" Perry.
