Sandra Crowe, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18th. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She joined her Heavenly family, her dad, Jesse, her mom, Francis, and her brother, Ronnie.She is survived by her loyal husband, Jerry Crowe, her daughter Dee Thornton, two grandchildren, Hendrick Thornton and Taylor Crowe, one great-grandchild, Alice Inman of Jacksonville, Florida, and her brother Joel Link of Auburn, AL, and sister Debbie Perry of Lebanon, TN.She was born in Richmond, Virginia, on November 27th, 1943. She was one of four children of the late Jesse and Francis Link.While working for the Georgia Railroad, Sandra met her husband, Jerry Crowe, in Atlanta, Georgia. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year on March 25th. She supported Jerrys railroad career while creating a loving home for him and their daughter, Dee. In 1980, the family returned to Jacksonville, Florida, to work for CSXT and its predecessor railroads, and made Jacksonville their permanent home.She deeply loved her church, family, and friends. While she could attend, Sandra was actively involved in the Womens Ministry at First Baptist Church. In addition, she used her artistic gifts and ability to make people laugh to serve the Lord.Sandra was full of life, always smiling and caring. While we are heartbroken to lose her we are at peace knowing she is with Jesus. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8A memorial service will be held at George H.
