Mrs. Sandra Jean "Sandy" Garnett age 71, of Keystone Heights passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, at Shands Hospital in Starke. She was born March 29, 1947, in Lorain, Ohio to Harold and Helen (Loterbauth) Hartman. Sandy had been a longtime resident of Keystone Heights and was a homemaker. Riding motorcycles with her husband was something Sandy really enjoyed doing; she has even traveled all over the United States on her motorcycle and enjoyed camping and antique cars. Sandy also loved lighthouses and anything purple but most of all she cherished the time spent with her family and friends. In addition to her parents Sandys son Andrew Mark Garnett had also preceded her in death. Sandy leaves behind her husband of 54 years Carl Garnett, Jr. and their two children Eddie "PeeWee" Garnett and his wife Michelle of Florahome and Belinda Getz and her husband Mike of McRae; several siblings and a host of additional family and friends. She was also loving called "grandma and grams" by her granddaughter Ashley, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Sandy was also known as "Mom" to many who loved her and will miss her. Funeral services for Sandy will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Conner Godwin officiating.
