Sandra Marie Ring

Sandra Marie Ring, 69, long-time resident of Lawtey, Florida passed away surrounded by her loved ones Friday August 16, 2019 in St. Augustine, Florida. Sandy had a strong Christian faith, raised Lutheran and later becoming involved in the Methodist church. Born and raised on a farm in Nebraska, Sandy developed of love for farm animals and gardening as a child. After retiring from a successful career as a construction Quality Control Inspector, Sandy started an organic farm. She raised chickens, rabbits, sheep, and cattle while keeping company with numerous cats, dogs and horses. She grew a variety of vegetables in her garden and was talented with ornamental plans. There was not anything she could not grow!Sandy shared her knowledge over the years with children and adults alike seeking advice. She formed many long-lasting relationships with the people who had the opportunity to learn agriculture from her.Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Joanna Ring and her brother William Ring. She is survived by her brother to Richard Ring, three children Katherine (Randy) Dunnam, Joseph (Jennifer) Willoughby and William (Kelly) Willoughby IV and grandchildren Ashley (Jason) Mahon, Adrianna Rowell, Dennis Willoughby and Nicholas Willoughby.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home, 620 E. Nona Street, Starke, Florida 32091. A visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow the service at The Downtown Grill from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM.
