Obituary

Sara Rebecca Nobles, age 28, born in Gainesville, December 7th, 1984, left earth for heaven, May 28th, 2013. She graduated from P.K. Yonge High School in 2003, from the University of Florida in 2007 with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders on a full scholarship, and also from Aveda Institute of Cosmetology (St. Petersburg) in 2010. Sara is a person that could hardly be summarized by any number of words. A girl that was made up of a perfectly intricate configuration of smiles, held together with the most unique wit and imagination. Her eyes seemed to see the world differently from everyone else. She could effortlessly make anyone laugh. Her fun-loving happiness would be enough to make her someone you'd want to get to know, but there's so much more to her. Sara truly loved life. She painted, traveled, played piano, sang, and danced whenever she felt like it. At any gathering or under any circumstance she became the focal point of infectious laughter, joy, and entertainment. She enjoyed city life, often finding places like New York City, Atlanta, Boston, and Dallas more than stimulating. Her cultured and uncommon opinions, jokes, ideas, and plans excited and roused something almost magical inside of us. Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" was her favorite painting. Queen, David Bowie, and Morrissey top a list of her favorite musicians. Outer space, sunsets, rainbows, nature, Wes Anderson films, karaoke, and puppies are some things she would unconditionally and vocally show an affinity for. Sara became a raw vegan enthusiast after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer almost three years ago. She was not short of brave, and her strength was apparent even before her fight with cancer began. Her desire to be seen and treated like anyone else, was evidence of her overwhelming character. Sara's beautiful kind-hearted disposition was a foundation laid early in her life while spending time with her mother at the First Baptist Church of Gainesville, singing in the choir, going on mission trips, and loving Jesus. So, if you find yourself reading this, and never got a chance to meet or know Sara, she would encourage you to love life, and disregard anything that doesn't bring you happiness. She is survived by her many friends, parents: Deborah and John Nobles, brother: Johnny, sister: April, sister-in-law: Sarah, nephews: Collin Nobles, Evan and Jeremy Nipper, grandmother: Margaret Cook, boyfriend/ best friend: Jeff "Jayman" Fraser, and her bulldog: Kingsley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Youth Ministry, 14105 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606.Sara's viewing is Friday, May 31, 2013, 6:00 - 8:00 PM and funeral is Saturday, June 1, 2013, 2:00 PM.
