Sarah Monroe Colley passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, May 21, 2022. She was born January 19, 1937 in Orlando, FL to Frances and Augustus Monroe. She grew up in Jacksonville and attended Florida State University. Sarah married Albert H Colley in June 1959 in Jacksonville. Her children, Albert H Colley, Jr (Chip) and Caryn Colley Clausen were both born in Jacksonville before the family moved several times out of state. She and Albert returned home to retire in Jax where many family and friends were eager to welcome them back. Sarah was a faithful follower of Christ, a loving wife and mother, and a friend to everyone she met. She will be so very, very missed. Sarah was preceded in death by both parents, her sister Anne Monroe Poidevant, and her husband Albert. Sarah will be greatly missed by Chip, Caryn (John), grandchildren Catherine (Edwin), Max (Valentina) and Charlie, and her loving companion Charles Arnold. A small family graveside service was held last week.
