Seeta "Sheila" Bassoo Funeral services for Seeta Sheila Bassoo, 80, who died April 27, 2012, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in Oceanway Assembly of God,12240 Sago Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32218 with Rev. Ken Barney officiating. The family will receive friends Monday (Today) from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mrs. Somai was born in Ross Villiage, West Coast, Berbice, Guyana and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Oceanway Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hemraj Somai and son, Tedram Somai. Survivors include her children, Barbara Latchman (Rohan), Rohan Somai (Zina), Pamela Hemraj, Sandy Arnold (Don), Danny Somai, Nadira Enquist (Walter), Indira Somai , Janice Hendricks (Blaine), and Debbie Somai. Sisters, Babsie Nathoo (Phillip) and Darling Nathoo. Grandchildren, Glenda Latchman, Raymond Latchman, Rudy Latchman, Beneta Nelson, Nigel Somai, Robin Somai, David Abdool, Sarah Arnold, Stephanie Arnold, Christina Somai, Catherina Somai, Theodore Enquist, Matthew Enquist, Timothy Enquist, Aaron Bowler, and Lauren Somai; Great-grandchildren, Zane Soles and Ethan Soles.
