Shanna Jean Hamilton

Shanna Jean Hamilton was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on February 4, 1971. Dearly love by her mother, Judith "Judy" Hamilton and her father Richard "Rick" L. Hamilton. "Shanna," "Shanna Jean" or "Shanna Banana" as she was often called, graduated from Nease High School, St. Augustine, in 1989. Shanna was sweet, kind, fun loving, a hard and a diligent worker with an expansive work history from manager at the former Family Fun Factory in St. Augustine to working as a housekeeper for A Mothers Touch of Jacksonville. Shanna is preceded in death by her grandmother Norma Hamilton in 2011. Shanna is survived by her companion of 27 years, Richard Brian Willis, mother Judy and father Rick Hamilton, sister Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson (Jason), her beloved nieces Abigail and McKenzi Johnson. Although Shanna had no children of her own, her love for the "sons of her heart" Bryan A. Willis and Bobby J. Willis was undeniable. As was her love for her "nieces of her heart," Jennifer L. Palmateer and Carolyne R. Mills, and for the great-nephews and nieces that came along. Shanna is also survived by her maternal aunt, Mrs. Janice Lamb of Wakefield, Nebraska, and by her paternal uncle and aunt, Butch and Debbie Hamilton of Georgia, and by Patrick, Ray, and Tonya (cousins) on the Hamilton side, as well as many other cousins around the U.S. Shannas smile and quirky sense of humor will be greatly missed by her innumerable friends, co-workers, and especially by her family.
