Ms. Shannon Lynn DeBlockMs. Shannon Lynn DeBlock age 27, of Fleming Island passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 suddenly. Ms. DeBlock was born on November 12, 1983 in Port Jervis, New York. She graduated from Bradford High School in 2002, received an AA degree from Santa Fe Community College, was employed as a property manager for the Harbour Group, and was the score keeper for the Bradford High wrestling team. Shannon was a member of First Christian Church in Starke where she operated the tech desk. She enjoyed going to the firing range and shooting her gun with her father, loved to help people, was active in the Coats for Kids campaign, and was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Survivors are her parents Albert Al and Cindy Callahan DeBlock of Starke, FL; her brother and sister-in-law: Al DeBlock, Jr. and Mary of Dunnellon, FL; niece: Sydney DeBlock; maternal grandmother Marian Callahan of Franklin, NJ; paternal grandmother Maria Rende of Delaware; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at the JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E Nona St., Starke, FL 32091 on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 4:00 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the First Christian Church of Starke with Pastor Steve Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Crosby Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Bradford Food Pantry, 921 E. Call St., Starke, FL 32091.
