Sharlene Sowards Gaddis

Mrs. Sharlene Sowards Gaddis age 77, of Keystone Heights formerly of Gainesville passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Avante at Ocala after an extended illness. She was born on June 27, 1939 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Drew and Mousey (Coleman) Kinney. Sharlene retired from the University of Florida as a Fiscal Assistant and loved spending time with her family.She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Cecil Sowards in 1996. Sharlene is survived by her second husband, Jerry Gaddis of Keystone Heights; son, Brent Sowards (Gina) of Largo; daughter, Cecilia Kersey (Stephen) of Starke; grandchildren, Andrea Sowards, Derek Mauger, and Sierra Kersey; and great grandchildren, Aiden and Collin Sowards. She also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends.A Celebration of Sharlenes Life will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Ken Bostwick officiating.
