Mrs. Sharon Lee Jones, 81 of Middleburg, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Mrs. Jones was born July 19, 1942 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to parents Dennis and Virginia (Martin) Williams. Sharon was very family oriented and loved her children. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, crafts, and antiquing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Emmett Jones, and sister, Densie Combs (Chuck). Survivors are her sons, Bryan Nickell (Jeanett) and Lloyd Glenn Nickell both of Middleburg, step children, Wilbur Jones, Jr. (Lisa) of Ohio, Kimberli Ann Ross (Doug) of Tampa, Jinny Rebecca Williams (Boyd) of Utah, and her sisters, Beverly and Deborah. Also surviving her are eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 at Penney Farms Cemetery with Pastor Steve Conner officiating.
