Shellee Smith Priest

Mrs. Shellee Smith Priest age 64 of Lawtey passed away at her home Sunday, April 26, 2020, following an extended illness. She was born July 24, 1955, in Gainesville to WM "Smitty" and Malvina "Beany" (Baumgardner) Smith. Shellee retired from E.I. DuPont following many years of dedicated service. She was also an active member of Grace United Methodist Church; she loved singing, traveling and spending time with her family. Her father had preceded her in death. Left behind is her husband of 41 years Lamar Priest and their son Aaron Priest both of Lawtey; her mother Malvina "Beany" Smith of Starke and a brother Scott Smith of Hawthorne. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Sheron Willson officiating.
