Sherry Lou Herrin

Mrs. Sherry L. Herrin age 75, of Yulee passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was born January 26, 1943 in Starke to the late Horace and Ola Mae (Andrews) Redding. Mrs. Herrin was a homemaker and member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Lawtey. She loved being outside in the yard gardening and taking care of her flowers; she also enjoyed word puzzles. Along with her parents, her brother Richard Redding had preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Mathew Herrin of Yulee and their two children Cindy Andrews (Jimmy) of Anniston, Alabama and Jeff Herrin of Yulee; two sisters Sue Kimbrell (Ron) of Starke and Vivian Johns of Jacksonville. Also left behind are two granddaughters and two great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Herrin will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Rev. Ron Kimbrell officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Long Branch Cemetery.
