Sherry Lee Newmans

Mrs. Sherry Lee Newmans age 70, of Melrose passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Isle Health and Rehabilitation in Fleming Island. She was born in Orange Springs on May 11, 1946 to the late Daniel and Viola (Briggs) Smith. Mrs. Newmans had worked many years on dairy farms milking cows; she had also worked in the office for Towers Hardware as well as being a waitress. She was of the Baptist faith and a hard worker; she loved working in and taking care of her yard and plants. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans. Mrs. Newmans is survived by the love of her life for 48 years, Carl "Wayne" Newmans and their four children, Robert, Archie, Kimberly and Carl, Jr. Also left behind are three sisters, Vera, Betty and Joyce; two brothers, Fred and Roger along with three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
