Shirley C. Moore age 84 of Starke passed away in Gainesville on Friday, February 4, 2022. Mrs. Moore was born in Woodbine, Georgia on May 4, 1937 to the late David Francis and Ella Mae "Miller" Cottle. Mrs. Shirley was a great cook, enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and attending her 1955 high school class reunions. She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Starke where she enjoyed attending Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Moore, Sr; parents; brothers, Edgar Cottle, Marion Cottle and Wilton "Buddy" Cottle; and her great-grandson Denlen Conner. She was survived by her son, Leonard (Beth) Moore of Starke; daughter, Diann (Tommy) Outlaw of Starke; sister, Winifred Drury grandchildren, Brian Outlaw, Rachel (Michael) Conner, Kelly (Monica) Outlaw, Jessica (James) Feltner, Casey (Denise) Moore, Drew (Kristyn) Moore and Ethan (Brandi) Moore; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church of Starke on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roman Alvarez and Pastor Harry Hatcher officiating. A visitation will precede the services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Crosby Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E.
