Sondra Howell Blake, 74, of Keystone Heights, Florida, passed away on August 10, 2023, at North Florida Hospital, Gainesville, Florida. She was born on June 12, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Mason R. Howell, Jr. and Margie L. Bisbee. The family moved to Jacksonville in 1951. Sondra was a graduate of Wolfson High School and Jones Business College. She was the devoted wife of Ronald Blake for 19 years and was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. We love her and will miss her dearly.Sondra worked in real estate as a land specialist for over 40 years and truly loved what she did. She was full of life, had a great sense of humor, and her smile lit up any room. Sondras passions were decorating and crafting---she made incredible decorations from woodand, of course, shopping! She was known for shopping her way home! She was an active member of Lake Area Bible Church and was a giver in every way. She was very strong in her faith and loved the LORD. Sondra is survived by her husband Ronald, son Christopher Hartley, sisters, Marsha Wingfield and Cindy Jean; brother, Bucky Brough (Catherine), a grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.A Celebration of Life will be held on September 9, 2023, at 11 am at Lake Area Bible Church, 7085 CR 214, Melrose, Florida 32666.
