Stanley Grant Brown,

Stanley "Grant" Brown, II of Starke passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Grant was born on January 24, 1989 in Gainesville, FL to Stanley and Linda Brown. Grant led a very fulfilling life surrounded and supported by family and friends. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, volunteer firefighter, baseball player and Florida Gator sports fan. He was a dear friend and mentor to many. Grants heart belonged to his precious daughter, Brylee. Grant was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Delbert "Al" Brown, Kenneth DeWitt, Sr., Raymond Griffis, and Robert Davies. Survivors include his daughter, Brylee Hunter Brown and her mother, Antonia "Toni" Cantu; parents, Stanley and Linda Brown; brother, "Doot" Brown (Dr. Callen); grandmothers, Libby Brannon and Jo Ann Davies; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his faithful canine companion, Steve. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Minister Nathaniel Davis, Sr. officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Conner Cemetery.
