Mrs. Stella Sue Chambers, 69 of Keystone Heights, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023. Mrs. Chambers was born January 20, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida to parents Roy and Juanita Estelle Chambers. Mama loved life, her kids, her grandkids, her dogs and family gatherings. Any reason to get together was a great reason in her eyes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her little brother, Lamar Crutchfield. Stella is survived by her husband, David B. Gordy, her two daughters, Tracy Grissett, Kelliesue Alsup (Michael Alsup), son, Kenneth R. Johnson (Kelly R. Johnson), grandchildren, Jordan E. Davis (Paul Davis), Morgan K. Johnson (Kaii Alloe), Dalton J. Henderson, James W. Johnson, Riggs Johnson, her sister, Ellen Hackney, her brothers, Doug & Dennis Chambers, and a lot of nieces and nephews. Mama was a very loved woman and most of all Mama loved. She loved everyone. Mamas favorite quote - "Be Odd, Unusual & Different." Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
