Mr. Stephen M. Romeo, age 82, of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Stephen was born November 3, 1942 in Toronto, Canada to the late Stephen Joseph and Betty Jane (Gibbs) Romeo. He was a member of Keystone Church of Christ and prior to retirement worked in a variety of occupations, the last one being an associate for a hardware store. Mr. Romeo served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He was a Past Master of Middleburg Lodge and played drums with the First Coast Highlanders. He volunteered as a Scout Master for Boy Scouts and was a mentor for the National Guard ChalleNGe Academy. Stephen enjoyed the outdoors, Civil war reenactments, and panning for gold. Survivors are: his wife Jane Argo Romeo, children Craig, Stephen, and Kim, along with 2 granddaughters, and a great granddaughter. Memorial services are pending.
