Steven Eugene Campbell

Mr. Steven Eugene Campbell 60 of Keystone Heights passed away at his home Friday, February 26, 2021. He was born March 4, 1960, in Taylorville, Illinois to Bill and Helen "Marie" (Rench) Kelley. Steve proudly served in the United States Marine Corps until his retirement. He enjoyed participating in the medieval reenactments, playing video games, board games, reading and putting together and painting car models. Steve was a very proud and patriotic veteran. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his siblings Stacey Edward Campbell and Donna Marie Campbell and sister in-law Cathy Campbell. Steves survivors are his wife of 28 years Deana (Dodson) Campbell; children Adrian Maxwell (Laura), Jacob Campbell (Kayla), Joshua Campbell, Matthew Campbell (Samantha) and Larissa Campbell Geiger (Nicholas). Also left behind are Steves siblings William "Bill" Campbell (Lucy), Beth Hawkins, Rita Long, Shane Kelley (Wanda), David Vencil (Celcia) and his only niece Ashley Campbell, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Steve was also lovingly call "papa" and "grandpa" by seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
