Steven "Steve" Shelby Cole

Steven Cole, 44, passed away suddenly at his home in Keystone Heights on June 1, 2019. He was born in Gainesville, FL and completed high school at the Lofton Center there.He was employed as a crew chief at Mark Hardenbrook Surveying in Starke, FL. When not working, he enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his beloved dog, Kody.He was a gifted musician who was lead guitarist for the local bands Skywater and Live and Learn for several years.He is survived by his parents, Stokes and Barbara Cole, brother Matthew Cole, all of Keystone, daughter Stephanie Cole of Middleburg, FL, niece Shelby Cole of Gainesville, longtime girlfriend Krysta Coursen of Waldo, FL and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.A Celebration of Life will be held at Fresh Start Fellowship on June 22 at 2:00pm with Pastor Stephen Conner officiating.Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E.
