Mrs. Sueko Hanada Biggs age 81, of Starke passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs. She was born in Tadoshi Hokkaido Japan on July 24, 1931 to the late Hanada Takematsu and Hanada Chiyo Okada. Mrs. Biggs was a graduate of the Ikebana School in Japan and became a floral designer. She also ran the laundry matt in Starke for over 20 years. Mrs. Biggs was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Starke where she belonged to the womens circle and she was also active with the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors are her husband Bobby Biggs, children, Sonja Biggs Gissy of Ocoee, Erle Biggs of Keystone Heights, Sarah Biggs-Wudel of Walton, NB, siblings; Harukuchi, Michiko, Yutaka, Shigeru, and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with the Reverend Mike Moore officiating.
